Redesigned Exterior and Interior
Redesigned Exterior and Interior
- The Ford Escape has a distinctive new look for 2020. Redesigned with sportier lines that give it a premium feel, the attention-grabbing new Escape will change the way you look at every other SUV.
- Its interior has also been redesigned with all the features and conveniences to help make traveling, and exploring, more comfortable. A new rotary gear shift dial opens space on the center console and helps improve overall front-row comfort.
- And with the second-row 60/40 split-fold seats with an all-new sliding feature, you can have best-in-class second-row legroom* or slide forward to maximize rear cargo space.** *Class is Small Utilities based on Ford segmentation. **Cargo and load capacity limited by weight and weight distribution.

- A 1.5L EcoBoost® and the 2.0L EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop Technology are the available gas engines.
Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ Technology

Selectable Drive Modes
- Designed to help improve your driving experience and handling on varying road surfaces.
- The different modes are Eco, Sport, Normal, Slippery and Deep Snow/Sand.
- Once selected, each one of these driving modes can modify the electronic stability control system and traction control system without you having to do anything.
Available AWD Disconnect
- Designed to help save fuel, All-Wheel Drive Disconnect allows for the disconnection of the rear driveline when the system detects AWD is not needed.
- This allows only the front wheels to propel the vehicle, therefore reducing drag and the overall energy demands of the drivetrain.

Available Active Park Assist 2.0
- Standard on Titanium, available Active Park Assist 2.0 takes parallel or perpendicular parking to an automatic level.
- Once the feature is engaged by pushing the Active Park Assist button, the system will detect an appropriate parallel or perpendicular parking spot.
- When the system identifies a parking spot, it will prompt you to come to a complete stop, shift to Neutral, release the brake pedal and hold the Active Park Assist button down; the vehicle does the rest.
- All steering, shifting, brake and accelerator controls are performed by the system.
- The system can do the same actions for exiting a parallel parking spot as well.
