The 2019 Ford F-150 - available all around Columbus Ohio
What makes the 2019 Ford F-150 perform so well in tough conditions? - HIGH-STRENGTH,
MILITARY-GRADE, ALUMINUM-ALLOY BODY - The Ford F-150 has the only
high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body in its class.* This allows an increase in gauge (or thickness) where needed
to achieve strength without increasing weight. The lighter
aluminum-alloy body and bed produce a higher power-to-weight ratio -
plus maximum payload and tow ratings that are best in class.* Yet
another benefit - resistance to dents.
- FULLY BOXED HIGH-STRENGTH
STEEL FRAME - The fully boxed frame is made of more high-strength steel
(up to 78 percent) and larger cross sections than the
previous-generation frame. And while stronger and more rigid, this frame
is also lighter by up to 60 lbs.
- HARD-WORKING, SMART PICKUP BOX - F-150 offers not
only best-in-class payload* but also a pickup bed that can be equipped
to make work easier and maximize productivity. Available features
include: Flexible, configurable BoxLinkâ„¢ system. LED box lights.
Stowable loading ramps. Integrated tailgate step with lift assist.
Remote tailgate release (lock or unlock and lower the tailgate).
Class-exclusive* deployable box side steps available on all cab
configurations, including the SuperCrew® with 5.5-ft. pickup box.
Heavy-Duty Payload Package.
- OFF-ROAD - Shifting into four-wheel drive
is as easy as turning a dial with the electronic shift-on-the-fly
(ESOF) system. ESOF lets you choose two four-wheel-drive modes (4x4 low
or high) as well as two-wheel drive. LARIAT, King Ranch® , Limited,
Platinum and Raptor models also include automatic 4WD mode. The FX4
Off-Road Package includes electronic-locking rear differential (locks
the rear axle completely for enhanced traction at both wheels), Hill
Descent Controlâ„¢, off-road tuned shock absorbers, skid plates, and "FX4
Off-Road" decal. Plus, the available 360-degree camera with split-view
display is helpful when you're maneuvering in tight spaces and on
off-road trails.

What engines are available in the 2019 Ford F-150?
- 2.7L TURBOCHARGED
ECOBOOST® - How can an engine displacing just 2.7 liters deliver a
robust 325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque? Engineer it with the
Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per
cylinder, dual overhead cam design with variable intake/exhaust cam
timing, plus twin intercooled turbochargers for on-demand power.
- 3.5L
ECOBOOST® - The 3.5L EcoBoost® with 10-speed transmission boasts
impressive power ratings of 375 horsepower and best-in-class* 470
lb.-ft. of torque, beating out all gas and diesel competitors. This
engine delivers the F-150 best-in-class* tow rating too. Features
include the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two
injectors per cylinder - one in the air intake port, another inside the
cylinder - to increase performance. Plus twin intercooled turbos for
on-demand power with virtually no lag.
- HIGH-OUTPUT 3.5L ECOBOOST® -
The Baja-bred F-150 Raptor is perfectly at home on a typical paved road.
But going from mild to wild on the most unforgiving terrain - now we're
in territory where the Raptor excels with its extraordinary capability,
beginning with raw power. Under the unique Raptor hood is the 24-valve,
3.5L twin-turbo HO EcoBoost® with Ford port-fuel and direct-injection
(PFDI) system and 10-speed automatic, generating a massive
best-in-class* 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. And now, this
high-output EcoBoost is the standard engine for luxury travel in the
top-of-the-line F-150 Limited.
- 3.3L TI-VCT V6 - The 3.3L Ti-VCT V6
delivers responsive performance with 290 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of
torque. The twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT) opens/closes
the valves in precise duration to suit operating conditions, so power
output is optimized at every point across the performance band. The 3.3L
also has the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two
injectors per cylinder - one mounted in the air intake port, another
inside the cylinder. The 6-speed automatic transmission has three
selectable modes to suit the driving condition: Normal, Tow-Haul, and
Sport.
- 5.0L TI-VCT V8 - This legendary Ford V8 with 10-speed
transmission delivers all the muscle you need plus best-in-class*
payload. Experience robust 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque,
courtesy of twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT), as well as
the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors
per cylinder to increase power and efficiency. The 5.0L offers a CNG/Propane Gaseous
Engine Prep Package for conversion to compressed natural gas (CNG) or
propane autogas.** A Snow Plow Prep Package is also available.
- 3.0L
POWER STROKE® TURBO DIESEL - How does class leading in every diesel
category sound? 11,400 lbs. towing - great news if you tow a lot for
work or recreation; 1,940 lbs. payload; 250 horsepower at 3,250 rpm and
440 lb.-ft. of torque at just 1,750 rpm. Plus class-leading
EPA-estimated 30 highway mpg fuel economy to go with all that muscle.*
- 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - F-150 EcoBoost®, V8 and diesel engines deliver their power through an advanced 10-speed automatic transmission. Compared with the 6-speed, the 10-speed delivers improved overall performance, with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges of the power band. Features include optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. What's more, you can choose from selectable modes: Normal, Tow-Haul, Snow-Wet, EcoSelect, and Sport.

Why choose the 2019 Ford F-150 over other trucks?
- BEST-IN-CLASS TOWING - The F-150 can tow more than any other pickup in its class, gas or diesel.* The available second-generation 3.5L EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6, at 375 horsepower and top-rated* 470 lb.-ft. of torque, has the best-in-class** conventional tow rating of 13,200 lbs. And the 3.0L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel, rated at 250 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft. of torque, is also best in class in towing at 11,400 lbs.**
- BEST-IN-CLASS PAYLOAD - Reducing weight is an effective way to increase payload. And that's a huge benefit of the F-150 body and bed built of lightweight and high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy. What results is a best-in-class* payload rating in F-150 models powered by the legendary Ford 5.0L V8. The 5.0L features the Ford port-fuel and direct-injection (PFDI) system with two injectors per cylinder - one in the air intake port, another inside the cylinder - to improve power and efficiency. Impressive power ratings are 395 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque.
- CLASS-EXCLUSIVE PRO TRAILER BACKUP ASSISTâ„¢ - Backing up a trailer involves navigating two vehicles at the same time - the truck going one way and the trailer going in the opposite direction. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned pro at this often tricky maneuver, the available class-exclusive* Pro Trailer Backup Assistâ„¢ makes it as easy as turning a knob.** Simply rotate the knob left or right in the direction you want the trailer to go. F-150 is the first pickup to offer this breakthrough feature.
SMART TOWING FEATURES - The F-150 provides trailer sway control as a feature of the AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™) system. Standard as well as is a smart trailer tow connector that alerts to connectivity issues, lighting and battery problems. And you have these available features that make the task of towing easier:
- Pro Trailer Backup Assistâ„¢ - synchronize truck and trailer while backing up*
- Dynamic hitch assist with line-of-sight guide - direct the hitch to the trailer receiver
- 8" productivity screen - trailer information
- Factory-installed trailer brake controller - synchronize truck and trailer brakes
- BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with trailer coverage* - alerts when a vehicle is in your blind spot or alongside the trailer

The 2019 Ford F-150 offers smart tech features such as:
- 8" LCD PRODUCTIVITY SCREEN - The available 8" LCD productivity screen provides useful information from fuel economy to towing data, all right in front of you on the instrument cluster. You can create a customized home screen.
- 360-DEGREE CAMERA WITH SPLIT-VIEW DISPLAY - This provides you with a bird's-eye view of the area around your truck. This feature uses four cameras: one in the grille, one on the tailgate and one under each sideview mirror. This system allows you to see all sides of your F-150 by stitching the four images together to create a comprehensive view of your truck's surroundings. It also includes a dynamic hitch assist feature that provides a sight line to help you direct your hitch ball to your trailer tongue.
- ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP-AND-GO - This feature can help keep you relaxed while making your drive a little easier. ACC with Stop-and-Go lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. When activated, the system automatically accelerates and brakes your truck while maintaining your preset distance. Thanks to the feature's stop-and-go technology, ACC can bring your Ford F-150 to a complete halt in stopped traffic and resume your set speed as traffic begins to move, with little to no effort on your part.*
- PRE-COLLISION ASSIST WITH AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING (AEB) - Though we should all drive defensively, we can't prepare for every pedestrian or vehicle we might encounter. Pre-Collision Assist with AEB* scans the road ahead. When a potential collision is detected, you'll get a visual warning as well as an audible alert. Your brakes will also precharge and increase sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you engage them. If a collision becomes imminent and you don't take corrective measures, the brakes can apply automatically.
- LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM - It happens to all of us; you've gotten briefly distracted and wandered just a bit too close to the edge of your lane. This smart feature scans your vehicle position between lines in the road ahead and vibrates the steering wheel or gives torque sensations (or both if you choose) when you drift too close to a lane marker, helping you to remain alert and aware of the road around you. After you've drifted in and out of your lane a few times, you'll see a coffee cup icon, letting you know it's time to take a break.*
- FORDPASS® CONNECT - With FordPass Connect, drivers and passengers can enjoy an in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspot. It features a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, powered by AT&T. Up to 10 devices can connect at once, and you can use FordPass to keep track of your Wi-Fi data usage. Also, you can access the hotspot from up to 50 feet outside the vehicle.
- FORD + ALEXA® and FORD SYNC 3 APPLINK WITH WAZE®
