The 2023 Edge showcases flowing lines and muscular curves, making it look like it's always in motion. On the SE, this striking design teams up with a dynamic honeycomb grille flanked by LED headlights. On the SEL, these headlights are embellished with sleek black bezels, and this trim has heated power-deployable side mirrors. The ST-Line gets trim-exclusive badges, a black mesh grille, and fog lights. The Titanium announces its arrival with a chrome bar-style grille; you'll notice round exhaust tips on the rear. The ST's exhaust tips have a distinctive trapezoid shape, and this top trim flaunts a glossy black grille.

Ford equips the 2023 Edge SE with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine featuring an output of 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also available in the SEL, ST-Line, and Titanium. The ST gets a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 capable of producing 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. Adding the Class II Trailer Tow Package gives the ST a 3,500-pound towing capacity. Both engines in the Edge lineup are exceptionally efficient, with the ST getting up to 25 mpg on the highway and lower trims getting up to 28 mpg.

The 2023 Edge lineup's standard transmission is an eight-speed automatic, while the ST comes equipped with a seven-speed automatic.
