Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Super Duty F-250 is available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims. Each trim gives you a multitude of construction options to make sure your truck is built exactly for what you need. You'll decide between a Regular Cab with an 8-foot box, SuperCab with a short wheelbase (SWB), SuperCab with a long wheelbase (LWB), Crew Cab with an SWB, and Crew Cab with an LWB. The SWB models have a 6.75-foot box and the LWB models have an 8-foot box. Then you'll choose whether you prefer a 4x2 or 4x4.
Engine (Power)
While the standard engine for the XL is a 6.8L Gas 2V DEVCT NA PFI V-8, a 7.3L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V-8 for the XLT through the Platinum, and a 6.7L HO Power Stroke® V-8 Turbo Diesel for the Limited, every model offers the option for either the standard or the HO Power Stroke® engine, and the XL offers the 7.3L engine. Upgrading your engine sees powerful results. The 6.8L gets you 405 horsepower, the 7.3L jumps to 430, the standard Power Stroke® hits 475, and the HO tops out at a remarkable 500 horsepower. Each is married to a TorqShift®-G 1-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
This beast of a truck is a high performer with its Mono-beam front axle with a coil spring suspension, heavy-duty gas shock absorbers, and a front stabilizer bar. There are four selectable drive modes – Normal, Eco, Slippery, and Tow/Haul – and if you've opted for the 4x4, you get Electronic-Shift-On-the-Fly technology to adjust your torque with the simple turn of a dial to handle the terrain. Plus, you'll be ready to tow about anything with a max towing capacity of 40,000 pounds with 5th wheel/Gooseneck towing.
Interior
The interior is just as impressive thanks to available features like a 12-inch LCD Productivity Screen, a Head-Up Display, a 360-degree camera system, Connected Built-In Navigation, a B&O® Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen® with HD Radio™ that comes with 18 speakers including a subwoofer, FordPass® Connect with 5G Wi-FI Hotspot that connects up to 10 devices, and SYNC® 4 with Enhanced Voice Recognition and 12-inch LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with swipe capability. You'll be surrounded by comfort, too, with a max recline 10-way power adjustable driver seat and heated and ventilated front seats.

Each trim comes standard with a smattering of safety features, like the SOS Post Crash Alert System, Belt-Minder®, child tethers, the Safety Canopy System with side-curtain airbags, and airbags situated in the front seat front and front seat side. Ford Co-Pilot 360™ Technology can include Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, Intersection Assist, and a 360-degree camera system.
